President Erhürman’s Regional Visits
On August 12, 2026, President Tufan Erhürman visited Boğazköy, Dikmen, and Taşkent, meeting with local communities. These visits are seen as an essential part of establishing communication with local residents and listening directly to their opinions.
Erhürman first visited the Boğazköy Muhtarlık Building, where he listened to the citizens’ views and requests regarding the region. This meeting provided a significant opportunity to understand the expectations and needs of the local population.
Engagements in Dikmen and Taşkent
Continuing his visit in Dikmen, the President met with local citizens in a café. In addition to discussing current issues, Erhürman conversed about the problems faced by the region.
Finally, in Taşkent, he visited the 15 August Martyrs Stadium, where he also stopped by the club lounge to gather information about local initiatives. At this point, he shared ongoing projects and plans concerning the region with local residents.
During his visits, President Erhürman also informed the public about the Turkish Republic’s policies regarding the Cyprus issue, creating an open dialogue by responding to questions posed by the citizens.
