The incident was recorded at 1:30 AM today. During a dispute involving seven people in an apartment parking lot on Gazi Osman Paşa Street in Girne, Nizam Allanazarov was fatally stabbed. Despite the emergency interventions, Allanazarov could not be saved. A 37-year-old individual, R.A., was also injured and received treatment before being discharged.
Suspects’ Statements in Court and Investigation Process
The police presented the evidence related to the case in court, stating that the seven suspects were arrested on various charges, primarily “murder.” One of the suspects, M.G., claimed to have stabbed Allanazarov seven times with a 39 cm long knife, citing that he was insulted by him. It was also highlighted that a substance, potentially considered a drug, was found at the scene.
The police argued that processes such as taking the statements of the suspects and reviewing the surveillance footage from the incident site are still ongoing, and therefore the suspects need to be kept in police custody for one more day. Judge Mine Gündüz Serden evaluated the request and ruled for the detention period of the suspects to be extended by another day.
According to M.G.’s statement, it was reported that he initially stabbed suspect 3, and then waited for Allanazarov’s arrival to inflict fatal blows to his throat and chest. The investigation is progressing in a rather complicated manner, necessitating a thorough examination.
