Significant leadership changes have taken place in the Meteorology and Postal Services as of September 8, 2026. According to decrees published in the Official Gazette, Sinan Güneş, who served as the Director of the Meteorology Department, was dismissed as of this date, and Mediha Orun Sarp has been appointed in his place. Yakup İskender, the Director of the Postal Department, was also relieved of his duties on the same date, with İlknur Ertayfur Topal taking over.
