The Meteorological Department has reported that heavy rain and thunderstorms will start to affect the region as of tomorrow. These rainfalls are expected to persist in places until Tuesday. Additionally, fog formation is anticipated in some areas on Sunday and Monday morning.

According to the weather forecast report covering the dates from August 15 to 21, the weather is expected to be generally partly cloudy with occasional heavy rain. These rainfalls are likely to be more intense during the afternoon hours. The greatest impact of the rain is expected during the week.

Starting from Wednesday, August 19, clearer and less cloudy weather is expected. With this change, it has been noted that temperatures may rise somewhat.

Regarding air temperatures, in the inner regions, the beginning and end of the period are expected to range from 36 to 39 degrees, while on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, they are expected to be around 32 to 35 degrees. In coastal areas, this temperature range is anticipated to be 31 to 34 degrees.

Winds are expected to blow predominantly from the south and west at moderate strength. Occasionally stronger winds may occur, which could affect weather conditions.
