A debt dispute in Nicosia has resulted in 20-year-old Zeka Çocuk falling approximately 10 meters from a window, leading to the arrest of two suspects. The incident occurred on September 5, 2026, around 11:30 PM. Zeka Çocuk was involved in a disagreement at the home of F.O.N.O., one of the detained individuals.
During the investigation, it is claimed that F.O.N.O. and the other suspect, A.M.O.A.Q., were responsible for Zeka Çocuk’s fall. The police reported that the suspects intended to harm Zeka Çocuk during the argument and acted accordingly. After the fall, Zeka Çocuk was transported to Nicosia State Hospital in serious condition.
Following initial treatment at the hospital, Zeka Çocuk is reported to have been admitted to the intensive care unit. A police officer informed the court that Zeka Çocuk remains in critical condition. Upon learning about the incident, the police responded quickly and conducted investigations that led to the identification of the suspects.
Additionally, it was noted that the suspects voluntarily provided statements following the incident, and surveillance footage from the scene is still being reviewed. The police requested that the two suspects be held for three days to continue the investigation, and the court granted this request.
