Recently in Nicosia, Kyrenia, and Lapta, police arrested four individuals for causing disturbances while intoxicated. Reports indicate that these individuals were under the influence of alcohol and were shouting loudly without any reasonable justification, causing discomfort to the surrounding community.
The police announced the arrests of N.W.M.Y (F-28) and T.G (F-35) in Nicosia, S.Y (F-49) in Kyrenia, and C.K (F-43) in Lapta. It was stated that these individuals were disturbing local residents while under the influence. Their blood alcohol levels were recorded, showing 51 milligrams for N.W.M.Y, 120 milligrams for S.Y, and 279 milligrams for C.K. T.G refused to provide a breath sample.
Missing Kadir Al Found
Meanwhile, it has been announced that Kadir Al, 24, who had been reported missing since August 10 in Kyrenia, has been found. The police stated that the investigation regarding the matter is ongoing but refrained from providing further details.
Fire in Nicosia!
A fire broke out in the basement of an apartment building on Mahmut Pasha Street in Nicosia, possibly due to electrical wiring faults. The incident occurred around 4:30 AM. As a result of the fire, a two-ton water tank, water pipes, and electrical installations were damaged. Additionally, the walls of the basement suffered damage from smoke and heat.
In Tuzla, various jewelry items were stolen from two separate homes with a 9mm caliber pistol. A.B. (F-45) was arrested in connection with this incident. During a subsequent immigration control, it was determined that A.B. was residing in the country illegally. Stolen items were recovered during a search of A.B.’s residence and taken as evidence.
