The incident began around 1:45 PM on a field located in the northern part of Tirmen village in Kars province. According to the Police Press Bulletin, the cause of the fire has yet to be fully determined, but it has been reported that red pine, cedar, carob, and olive trees, along with a significant amount of maquis vegetation, were severely damaged. The flames spread over approximately 120 acres, posing a serious threat to the local ecosystem.

Combine Harvester in Şirinevler and Energy Systems in Esentpe Damaged

In Esentpe, a fire was ignited due to sparks from a functioning generator’s exhaust located outside a residential property. This fire destroyed one generator, a wooden gazebo, and 14 solar panels situated on the roof of the house. Additionally, the exterior walls of the house were damaged due to charring.
