The Lefkoşa Turkish Municipality (LTB) organized the Surroundings Child Festival as part of its summer activities. Reflecting Turkey’s cultural richness and entertainment style, the festival provided families with the opportunity to enjoy quality time with their children.
Opening Show of the Festival
The festival commenced with great excitement at the Lefkoşa Art Center (LESAM – Ayluka Church). The renowned ventriloquist Hanife Tayyareci performed her show titled “Lokum,” which captivated both children and their families, delivering joyful moments to the audience.
Workshops and Entertainment
The activities continued with a Creative Art Workshop organized by Elayda Yaman and Hicran Eker. In these workshops, children engaged in artistic activities, enhancing their imagination while having fun. The festival aimed to present unique entertainment and concluded with a magic show that added vibrant energy to the atmosphere, leaving the children wide-eyed in wonder.
This year’s Surroundings Child Festival, organized for the first time by LTB, transformed the children’s summer vacation into a fun experience while encouraging families to spend time together. With a high turnout, the event’s focus on child-friendly activities boosted family satisfaction.
