The 7th Babutsa Culture and Art Festival concluded with events organized by the Geçitkale-Serdarlı Municipality. The final night of the festival featured a concert by the famous artist Mustafa Ceceli, a fireworks display, and a bingo lottery.
Recently held at the Serdarlı 14 August Stadium, the event was attended by Geçitkale-Serdarlı Mayor Halil Kasım, his wife Funda Kasım, municipal council members, and many citizens. At the beginning of the night, DJ Yusuf Coşkuner took the stage to entertain the attendees with beautiful music.
After thanking the sponsor companies with appreciation plaques, Mustafa Ceceli took to the stage. Following a successful concert, the fireworks display received great acclaim. At the festival’s conclusion, a special area was created for two individuals with special needs, providing them with support as well.
Mayor Halil Kasım presented appreciation plaques to those who contributed to the organization of the festival during the closing of the event. Kasım emphasized that the festival gathers more people every year and that the contributions from sponsors are significant for this success.
Kasım stated that the festival is not just a short entertainment program, but is organized with the collective effort of various groups such as municipal employees, artists, and the local community. He expressed that every contribution is important for advancing Serdarlı’s cultural and social life and regional values.
He noted that among the elements that form the spirit of the festival are culture, art, and solidarity, emphasizing that the community is at the heart of all events. He added that they aim to expand such organizations to connect children and youth with cultural and artistic activities.
