An incident occurred in Nicosia this morning, where a 76-year-old scooter driver sustained injuries after falling onto the sidewalk. The accident took place on Şht. Mehmet Kemal Street.
Details of the Accident
According to statements made by the police, the accident occurred around 7:10 AM. The driver, Hasan Yayman, suddenly veered onto the left side of the road while approaching the front of a business named “Greenland,” causing him to fall onto the sidewalk. As a result of this fall, the driver suffered various injuries.
Taken to the Hospital
After initial assistance was provided at the scene, the injured driver was taken to the hospital. Yayman is currently receiving necessary treatments at the Nicosia Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital and is under observation. No clear information has yet been provided regarding the driver’s condition.
