CTP Unveils Candidates for General Elections
The Republican Turkish Party (CTP) has identified its candidates for the upcoming general elections. Following a voting process within the Party Council, the names put forward as candidates have been approved. Among the candidates are independent members of parliament.
The approved candidates include Ayşegül Baybars, Jale Refik, Tunç Adanır, Emine Dizdarlı, Güven Bengihan, and businessman Metin Kulaksız. These individuals play a significant role in the CTP’s electoral strategies.
Independent Candidates and Former Positions
Ayşegül Baybars and Jale Refik are currently serving as independent members of parliament. Tunç Adanır has previously held the position of President of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Engineers and Architects. Emine Dizdarlı is recognized as a former Ombudsman.
Additionally, KTAMS President Güven Bengihan and businessman Metin Kulaksız have also been confirmed as candidates designated by the CTP. However, no official statement has yet been made by the CTP management regarding these candidates.
