The 7th edition of the Serdarlı Babutsa Culture and Arts Festival concluded with a grand finale held at the 14 August Stadium. Numerous attendees participated, including Geçitkale-Serdarlı Mayor Halil Kasım, his wife Funda Kasım, and municipal council members.
The evening opened with a performance by DJ Yusuf Coşkuner. This was followed by a presentation of appreciation plaques to representatives from sponsor companies. Immediately after this presentation, the famous artist Mustafa Ceceli took the stage, providing the audience with an unforgettable musical experience.
The fireworks display accompanying the concert added to the visual spectacle of the evening, while the event concluded with a bingo drawing. The festival’s sections dedicated to individuals with special needs also drew attention, welcoming these individuals in specially allocated areas.
Mayor Halil Kasım presented appreciation plaques to musicians Yusuf Coşkuner and Mustafa Ceceli, who supported the festival’s organization. He expressed that the festival gained strength through the contributions of supportive sponsors and extended his gratitude to all individual and corporate supporters.
Kasım noted that the festival was not merely about entertainment, highlighting the extensive effort behind the organization, emphasizing the importance of solidarity. He pointed out that various contributors, including municipal staff, artists, and local community members, played a role in the festival’s formation.
Stressing that the event was a significant opportunity to strengthen cultural values, Mayor Kasım mentioned that the local community came together in such organizations, allowing children and youth to engage in cultural exchanges. He also added that similar events would be supported in the future.
