The 34th State Photography Exhibition, organized by the Cultural Office, will open on August 19, coinciding with World Photography Day.
The opening ceremony will be attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, Fikri Ataoğlu. The exhibition will take place at 19:30 at the Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM).
During the opening, the competition awards will also be presented to the winners. Additionally, flutist Işıl Akgüç will perform a short musical interlude at the event, which will be hosted by Nevin Özkur from Bayrak Radio Television Corporation and will feature significant moments.
According to the results announced on June 15, works from seven different categories will be exhibited. These categories include open, nature, “My City: Nicosia”, conceptual, architectural, earth explorer pieces, and underwater photography: North Cyprus Seas.
The exhibition will showcase a total of 81 works from 25 photographers. Participants’ works will be available for public viewing at the Atatürk Cultural Center until August 28, Friday.
