The Girne Municipality held a press conference today to share details about the Girne Arkın Group Fest26, which will take place for the fourth time this year. The festival will host a variety of events from August 28 to October 11.
The meeting, held at Girne Colony Hotel at 11:00 AM, was attended by Girne Mayor Murat Şenkul and several officials and organizers. The festival will feature performances by renowned artists, ranging from local talents to international names, with cultural and artistic activities taking place at various venues in Girne.
The festival will kick off with the Ozanköy Pekmez Festival on Friday, August 28, where the famous artist Leman Sam will perform. The festival will conclude with a concert by Yıldız Tilbe on October 11. Other events in this period include the 4th Müz-Ler Art Symposium, a Gymnastics Show, and the Zeytinlik Olive Festival.
Event Schedule and Details
Events scheduled as part of the Girne Arkın Group Fest26 include concerts by artists such as Buray and Fatma Turgut on various dates and times. Additionally, the 4th International MÜZler Art Symposium, taking place between September 12-27, will significantly contribute to the festival.
Another highly anticipated event during the festival will be the 25th Girne International Zeytinlik Olive Festival, set to take place from September 30 to October 4. The Yeni Türkü group will perform at the festival’s opening. Popular names like Hayko Cepkin and Yaşlı Amca will also be part of the program.
